Excited for autumn? So are we. It's a time for new beginnings: to reset, rethink and most importantly, give your wardrobe an overhaul for the coming season. Your first stop should be choosing one key item to bring you gently into line. Material and texture is key (diving into knitwear can seem a little premature on balmy early autumn days), so choose something that still lets you have a foot in both seasons.
We're loving this butter-soft faux leather skirt. Stride out of your comfort zone away from the safety of black: chocolate brown feels more luxe right now. Wear now with a sleeveless faux leather top or camisole and then layer up as the mercury starts to drop: think Autograph silk shirts or a cashmere jumper.
Supersize your accessories
This season's accessories are for the maximalists: the bigger the better is the key message. So, say farewell to bags that you can barely get your phone and keys into and embrace the style (and dare we say it, practicality) of the giant bag.
